You may have heard Vega use the term “thrive” before. Our vision statement is “empowering the world to thrive” after all, and Brendan Brazier began formulating Vega products around the nutritional philosophy described in his Thrive Diet book series. From Brendan’s new Thrive Energy Cookbook, to Thrive Forward, the stories, tips, recipes, and nutritional education Vega shares all year long, our goal is to help you discover how you thrive.
How YOU thrive
Ask ten different people how they thrive and you’ll probably receive ten different answers. Some people may see achieving or maintaining their optimal weight as thriving. Others are focused on having the energy they need to do the things—and live the life— that they love. Maybe when your stress levels are managed you’re thriving. Perhaps you define thriving on how balanced your moods are. By becoming more in tune with your body and its needs, you’ll be better able to assess when you’re just living versus when you’re really thriving.
Progress, not perfection
If you’ve already made one change, you may be wondering what your next step is. Thriving isn’t all or nothing—it’s about making small steps that lead you to the best version of you, one day at a time. Each day is a new opportunity to grow, learn and improve. Perhaps it’s time to add a few more recipes to your repertoire, or try a new stress-busting technique. Maybe it’s time to dive a little deeper into clean, plant-based nutrition, whether you dabble with Meatless Monday, or take the challenge of Plant-Based Before 6 PM.
