Coconut Lime Brazil Nut Smoothie

I think Brazil nuts are the most underrated nut out there. We frequently boast about the nutritional content of almonds, walnuts and other nuts but rarely promote Brazil nuts. Did you know Brazil nuts are extremely rich in selenium? In fact, just one covers your daily recommended intake. Beyond the high level antioxidants, vitamins and minerals you’re getting from the Brazil nuts, this smoothie will launch you into summer mode with the refreshing taste of coconut and lime.

Ingredients

  • 1 serving Vanilla Vega One™ Nutritional Shake
  • Juice of 1 full lime
  • ½ cup full fat canned coconut milk
  • ½ cup coconut milk beverage
  • ½ frozen banana
  • 2 brazil nuts
  • ½ cup ice

Preparation

  • Add all ingredients to blender.

  • Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
