Vegetable Smoothie

Serves 1 5 minute prep time

If you’re bored with fruity smoothies or just want to try something a little different, this vegetable smoothie is right up your alley. Besides green veggies, you’ll notice that this smoothie has Vega® Antioxidant Omega Oil in it. While it may seem odd to add an oil to your smoothie, it’s a great way to make sure you are eating essential Omega-3 ALA. Tahini is also added as one of my go to seed butters—smooth and creamy, it adds a new flavor to your smoothie. A few small dates add an undertone of sweetness to complement the savory vegetables.


  • ¼ cup non-dairy milk
  • 2 stalks celery
  • ½ head romaine lettuce
  • 1 serving Vega One®
  • (optional) ½ Tbsp Vega® Antioxidant Omega Oil Blend
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Juice of one small lemon
  • 3 tsp tahini paste/sauce
  • 3 small dates
  • ¼ cup ice


  • Combine all the ingredients in a high speed blender (liquids first).

  • Blend until smooth.
