A perfect vegan ranch dressing to use as a dipping sauce for our delicious and addictive Cauliflower Buffalo Wings. This vegan spicy ranch dressing also makes a rich and creamy vegan salad dressing to use on all your favorite salads and packs a jalapeno and cheddar flavor punch. Cashews are the perfect base to add the creamy texture that is an absolute necessity for any vegan ranch dressing. If you like it extra spicy, feel free to add extra hot sauce or jalapenos to really turn up the heat!
- 1/4 cup cashews
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 of a shallot
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/4 cup Vega® Antioxidant Omega Oil Blend
- 1 Tbsp fresh herbs (dill or chives are a great choice)
- 1/2 of a lemon
- 1 tsp Frank's Hot Sauce
- 1/4 cup Chedder Daiya
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1/4 cup green peppers or brocolli
- Salt and pepper, to taste
In a blender combine cashews, water, shallots and garlic.
Blend until smooth.
Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
If dressing is too thick add 1 tsp of water at a time until proper consistency. If too thin, add a few cashews and blend.
