Candy Corn Smoothie

Serves 2 10 minute prep time

Get into the Halloween mood with this vibrant candy corn smoothie inspired by a classic childhood candy. Blend up each layer individually, pour on top of one another in your favorite spooky goblet, and turn on a classic Halloween movie. Or, blend it up as a snack after you’re done learning all of the dance moves to a certain thrilling seasonal anthem… Especially if it’s close to midnight.

Ingredients

  • First Layer (White)
  • 1 serving Tropical Vega® Protein & Greens
  • or 1 serving any Vanilla flavored Vega® plant-based protein product
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup plain non-dairy yogurt
  • 1 cup Silk® Original Unsweetened Almondmilk
  • Second Layer (Yellow)
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • ½ cup water
  • ½ Tbsp turmeric
  • Third Layer (Orange)
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 Tbsp turmeric

Preparation

  • Add all ingredients in first (white) layer to blender and blend. Pour 1/3 of the smoothie mixture into the bottom of your glass.

  • Next add in the frozen mango, water, and the half tablespoon turmeric to create a yellow layer. Pour half of the mix into a separate glass and set aside while you blend the orange layer.

  • Add the carrot and remaining turmeric to create an orange layer. Pour the orange layer on top of the white layer. Top with the yellow layer of smoothie. Enjoy!
