Vega Chocolate Protein Balls

Packed with vegan goodness to compliment any plant-based diet on-the-go, these vegan protein snacks are coated in our Vega® Maca Chocolate bars for a Halloween treat that’s a great snack all year round.
Ingredients
- 1 cup large flake oats
- 2/3 cup Chocolate Vega Sport® Performance Protein
- 1/4 cup flax meal
- 2 Tbsp chia seeds
- 1 bar, chopped into chips of Vega® Maca Chocolate
- 1/4 cup almond butter
- 1/3 cup agave nectar
- 1 Tbsp Vega® Antioxidant Omega Oil Blend
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 bars, chopped for melting of Vega® Maca Chocolate
Preparation

Combine all ingredients (except the Vega® Maca Chocolate for melting) in a large bowl and mix well.

Roll dough into 1” bite sized balls (add more nut butter if consistency is too dry to roll into balls).

Place balls on a parchment-covered tray. Melt 3 Vega® Maca Chocolate bars in either a double boiler or in the microwave.

Coat the balls in the melted chocolate and refrigerate until hardened.
