It’s no secret that we have a profound love of smoothies, but sometimes it’s nice to switch things up. Perfect for summer, these smoothie pops are a fun and cooling way to get in your daily smoothie. They’re also a great way to win over any picky eaters in your life. If you find yourself getting bored with your daily smoothie routine, maybe it’s time to think outside the glass!
Follow the instructions of your favorite popsicle maker, or create your own molds using paper cups and wooden popsicle sticks. Most smoothie recipes will translate well into a frozen pop, but here are a few of our favorites:
Ingredients
- Key Lime Pie Pops:
- 1 cup coconut milk
- 1 serving French Vanilla Vega One™ Nutritional Shake
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/2 cup spinach
- 1 Tbsp key lime juice
- Zest of 1 key lime
- 1 Medjool date, pitted
- Toppings:
- Crushed vegan, gluten-free gingersnaps or graham crackers
- Optional: vegan coconut whipped topping
- Orange Creamsicle Pops:
- 1 seedless orange, pitted and peeled
- 1 serving Vanilla Vega Sport® Performance Protein
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup ice
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Water, as needed
- Chocolate Covered Strawberry Pops:
- 1 serving Chocolate Vega Sport® Performance Protein
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- 1/2 small avocado
- 1/2 Tbsp ground flax
- Coconut milk beverage
