Fresh Vanilla Mint Smoothie

Serves 1 5 minute prep time

Chill out with peppermint tea and fresh mint leaves in this Vanilla Mint Smoothie. Want to take it to the next level? Add in a handful of fresh greens!

Ingredients

  • 1 serving Vanilla Vega® Essentials
  • or Vanilla Vega® Protein & Greens
  • 1 cup chilled peppermint tea
  • 1 frozen peeled banana
  • ¼ cup loosely packed fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2-3 drops peppermint extract
  • 1 handful mild-tasting greens such as spinach or romaine (optional)
  • 6 ice cubes

Preparation

  • Add all ingredients except ice to your blender and blend until smooth.

  • Blend in the ice cubes until no chunks remain.

  • Pour into a glass and serve.
