We think you’re just as sweet as pie and that you deserve a smoothie just as sweet! Sweet potatoes provide a subtle sweetness and smooth texture to this smoothie. This smoothie is great first thing in the morning, or as a decadent dessert, topped with coconut whipped cream and chopped nuts!
- 1 cup sweet potato (cooked, peeled and chilled)
- 1 cup cold non-dairy beverage such as almondmilk
- ¼ cup gluten-free oats
- 2 Tbsp almond butter
- 1 serving Natural Vega One™ Nutritional Shake
- ½ tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- ¼ tsp nutmeg
- Optional topping: vegan coconut whipped cream with chopped walnuts and pecans
Blend all ingredients (adding more liquid if desired).
Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg.
If desired, top with coconut whipped cream and chopped nuts.
