Skip the coffee shop lineup and treat yourself to this salted caramel latte. With all the sweet, salty and oh-so-creamy deliciousness, it’s hard to believe you’re sipping on 20 grams plant-based protein, as well as veggies and greens but believe me, it’s true.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Silk coconut milk
- 1/2-1 scoop Vega® Essentials
- 1 Tbsp caramel sauce (no caramel sauce, no problem. Use one frozen date and 1 tsp vanilla instead)
- 1/2 cup coffee, hot or leftover (cold)
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- Optional topping: coconut whipped cream
Preparation

Hot Drink Directions:

Combine milk and caramel and warm over medium heat.

Blend warm milk. Vega Essentials and sea salt in a blender until frothy.

Pour blended mixture over coffee.

Spoon froth from the blender on top.

Top with a dash of sea salt and caramel drizzle. Make it extra decadent with coconut whipped cream.

Iced Latte Directions:

Blend milk, caramel, Vega® Essentials and sea salt in a blender until frothy.

Fill a tall glass half with ice.

Pour coffee over ice and top with milk.

Top with a dash of sea salt and caramel drizzle.
