Cinnamon Bun Smoothie

Serves 1 5 minute prep time

There are few things that scream snowy winter morning like a cinnamon bun does. Start off your day with something rich and decadent that also contains the nutrients you need to energize your day.

Note: Looking for a lighter option? Skip the nut butter. 

Ingredients

  • 1 serving Vega® Protein and Greens
  • 1 large frozen banana
  • ¼ cup gluten free rolled oats
  • 1 Tbsp almond butter
  • 2-3 pitted dates
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon or more to taste
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of pink sea salt
  • Optional toppings: cinnamon sprinkle, cinnamon stick, chopped pecans

Preparation

  • Add all ingredients to blender.

  • Blend until smooth!

  • Optional garnish of topping is highly recommended. Enjoy!
