We’ve got your plant-based bowl of chili’s new sidekick. Feast your eyes on this simple cornbread recipe.
- 3 Tbsp cornmeal
- 2 Tbsp gluten-free flour mix
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp melted non-dairy butter (such as Earth Balance)
- 1/8th cup of water or Silk® Unsweetened Almondmilk
Place all dry ingredients in small bowl and mix together.
Add in wet ingredients and mix together until well combined.
Using cooking spray or leftover non-dairy butter, grease mug to prevent cornbread from sticking to the sides.
Pour cornbread mixture into mug and cook in microwave for 1 1/2 minutes.
