Pear Hemp Smoothie

Pear is a forgotten fruit when it comes to smoothies.  It definitely doesn’t get the praise it deserves for being high in fibre, flavonoids, and antioxidants all in a fat and cholesterol-free package.  Did we mention a pear is only 100 calories? This pear hemp smoothie packs plant-based protein for a healthy kick start to your day.

Ingredients

  • 1 serving Natural Vega One® Organic All-in-One Shake
  • 1 Tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 Tbsp fresh ginger (chopped)
  • ¾ cup almond milk (unsweetened)
  • ½ a banana
  • ½ a pear
  • 1 handful of spinach

Preparation

  • Add all ingredients into a blender, and blend until smooth.
