Blood Orange Smoothie

Blood oranges are gorgeous in color and the perfect pick-me-up taste (fresh, tart, and just slightly sweet) for the cold winter months. In addition to oranges, this smoothie is loaded with fresh citrus flavor thanks to the juice of 1 lemon and fresh tart grapefruit. If the grapefruit is too much try using half or omit entirely. Pair it with a nutrient-packed scoop of Vega One® and you’ll be ready to rock whatever the winter weather brings.
Ingredients
- 1 serving French Vanilla Vega One® Organic All-in-One Shake
- 2 blood oranges, peeled
- 1 small red grapefruit
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 inch fresh ginger
- ½ cup coconut water
- ½ cup ice cubes
