Sweet Potato Smoothie

We think you’re just as sweet as pie and that you deserve a smoothie just as sweet! Sweet potatoes not only provide natural sweetness to this smoothie but they’re also a source of fiber, antioxidants, and vitamin A and C. This Sweet Potato Smoothie is great for breakfast and can also be turned a decedent dessert by topping it with coconut whip cream and chopped nuts!


  • 1 cup sweet potato (cooked, peeled and chilled)
  • 1 cup cold almond milk
  • ¼ cup gluten-free oats
  • 2 Tbsp almond butter
  • 1 serving Natural Vega One™ Nutritional Shake
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg
  • Optional topping: vegan coconut whip cream  with chopped walnuts and pecans


  1. Blend all ingredients (adding more liquid if desired).

  2. Top with a sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg.

  3. If desired, top with coconut whip cream and chopped nuts.

  4. Enjoy!
