This recipe is so easy; getting past calling your delicious creation a “dump” will be the hardest part.  If you don’t love dump cakes yet you will after making this, easy, minimal ingredient recipe. Just dump all ingredients straight into cake pan, mix, bake and enjoy.

  • 2 large apples, sliced
  • 1 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 4 Tbsp caramel sauce
  • ¾ cup melted vegan butter substitute
  • 1 serving Vanilla Vega® Protein & Greens
  • 1¾ cup gluten-free vanilla cake mix

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. Lightly grease a 7X11 cake pan with vegan butter substitute.

  3. Spread apple slices evenly over cake pan. Top with applesauce, spread evenly. Drizzle 2 tablespoons caramel sauce over pan.

  4. Melt vegan butter substitute in microwave or on the stovetop.

  5. Mix cake mix and Vega Protein & Greens together, add vegan butter substitute and combine.

  6. Spread mixture evenly over pan.

  7. Bake for 40 to 50 minutes. They’ll be done when the top is golden brown.

  8. Remove from oven and let cool for 5-10 min.

  9. Drizzle remaining caramel sauce over pan.

  10. Cut into 12 pieces and serve imperfectly perfect, crumbly, caramel-y pieces, topped with non-dairy ice cream.
