Simple breakfast essentials
We’ve all been there. For whatever reason, you wake up on a weekday morning, roll over, look at the clock, and in a sudden state of shock, realize that your alarm didn’t go off. You’re running an hour late. AHHH!
You take the world’s fastest shower, toss some clothes on, and throw your hair up into a quick top knot. You scramble to get bags packed, teeth brushed, kids dressed and fed, and out the door as fast as you can.
With minutes to get out the door, you know there isn’t time to prepare much. Even though a caffeine rush from coffee might seem like a good idea, it’s not going to sustain you for long. What if there was a morning meal you could prepare faster than your coffee maker can pour you a cup to go?

- 1 scoop Vanilla Vega® Essentials
- 1 cup Silk Unsweetened Almondmilk
- 1/2 banana, peeled and ideally frozen
- 1/2 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
- 1/4 cup plain oats
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 5-6 ice cubes
- Optional garnishes: silvered almonds, raspberries, and oats
Place all ingredients except ice in a blender and blend until smooth.
Add ice as needed to thicken, and continue blending until no chunks remain.
Pour into a glass and garnish with slivered almonds, raspberries and oats if desired.
