This Hazelnut Cacao Banana Smoothie from blogger Amanda Maguire is a nutritious way to enjoy flavors of chocolate and hazelnutty goodness. Can you believe it has more than 20 grams of protein, and 50%DV vitamins and minerals in every smoothie??
- 1 cup unsweetened non-dairy milk (I used homemade cashew milk)
- ½ cup cold, filtered water
- 1 large frozen banana
- 1 serving Chocolate Vega One™ Nutritional Shake
- ¼ cup raw hazelnuts
- 2 Tbsp raw cacao powder
- Large handful ice cubes
- Pinch of fine sea salt
- Pinch of ground coffee beans (optional, it enhances the chocolate flavor)
Add all of the ingredients to the blender and blend on high speed until smooth.
Pour into your favorite glass and enjoy!
