Sometimes your dessert just tastes better cold and blended. Enjoy my take on this classic Mexican dessert.
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1 serving any Vanilla Vega plant-based protein powder
- or 1 serving Vanilla Vega Sport® Performance Protein
- 1 ripe banana
- ½ cup ice
- ¼ cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp cinnamon powder
- Pinch of salt
- ½ cup ice
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar for rim (optional)
Preparation

Place all ingredients in blender (except for brown sugar) and blend until smooth.

Gently coat rim of smoothie glass with water, and roll rim in brown sugar. Pour smoothie into glass and enjoy.
