Years ago, when my grandparents hosted our family’s holiday dinner, not a single guest would leave without a Chocolate Orange. You know the kind you smack on the table to break apart the chocolate slices? Here’s a nostalgic smoothie perfect for Christmas morning:

Ingredients

  • 3 small to medium mandarin oranges, peeled
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 serving Chocolate Vega One™ Nutritional Shake
  • 1 Tbsp raw cacao powder
  • 2 Tbsp cacao nibs + 1 tsp for garnish
  • 2 Tbsp hemp hearts
  • ¼ tsp Himalayan salt
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 4 ice cubes

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to blender.

  2. Blend until smooth.

  3. Garnish with a sprinkling of cacao nibs (and maybe even a little Himalayan salt!)

  4. Enjoy!
