Mocha Hazelnut Nice Cream

Craving something chocolate for your post-workout protein? This coffee flavored vegan ice cream has five ingredients and you don’t need an ice cream maker. With more than 15 grams of protein per serving, a smooth banana base and some serious crunch factor thanks to chopped hazelnuts and cacao nibs, it’s a perfect treat for refueling.


  • Ice Cream:
  • 3 ripes bananas
  • 1 serving Mocha Vega Sport® Performance Protein
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup chopped hazelnuts
  • 2 Tbsp cacao nibs or dark chocolate chips
  • Toppings:
  • Banana slices

  • Chopped hazelnuts

  • Cacao nibs or dark chocolate chips


  1. Add the bananas, Vega Sport® Performance Protein and cinnamon to your blender and puree until smooth.

  2. Scoop the mixture into a freezer-safe container. Stir in the hazelnuts and cacao nibs.

  3. Freeze for 3-4 hours.

  4. Scoop into bowls and top with sliced banana, additional chopped hazelnuts and cacao nibs.
