Just saying the name, frozen maca chocolate banana bites, excites our sweet tooth. This is vegan dessert at its very best—rich and velvety dark maca chocolate, smooth and sweet bananas, and exciting crunchy toppings.
- 2 chopped bars of Vega® Maca Chocolate
- 3 ripe bananas, peeled, cut into 1/2-inch thick slices
- Topping Suggestions: shredded coconut, chopped nuts, coarse sea salt
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper (make sure it fits in your freezer first!)
Melt chocolate in a double boiler, remove from heat and set aside.
Using two forks, coat each banana slice in the chocolate and place on the prepared baking sheet.
While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle each slice of banana with your desired toppings. If using sea salt, be sure to just use a few crystals.
Freeze for at least three hours and enjoy!
