3 Ingredient Pre-Workout Snack – Date Bites

Need a quick bite as you head out the door to the gym? Grab a date! Simple carbohydrates combine with healthy fats for a satisfying pre workout snack.


  • 3-4 Medjool dates
  • 1 Tbsp almond butter
  • ¼ cup shredded coconut


  1. Slice 3 to 4 Medjool dates in half.

  2. Spread almond butter on each half (about 1 tablespoon total).

  3. Roll in unsweetened shredded coconut.
