Salted Caramel Latte

Skip the coffee shop lineup and treat yourself to this salted caramel latte. With all the sweet, salty and oh-so-creamy deliciousness, it’s hard to believe you’re sipping on 20 grams plant-based protein, as well as veggies and greens but believe me, it’s true.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Silk coconut milk
  • 1/2-1 scoop Vega® Essentials
  • 1 Tbsp caramel sauce (no caramel sauce, no problem. Use one frozen date and 1 tsp vanilla instead)
  • 1/2 cup coffee, hot or leftover (cold)
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • Optional topping: coconut whipped cream

Preparation

  1. Make It Hot Directions:

  2. Combine milk and caramel and warm over medium heat.

  3. Blend warm milk. Vega Essentials and sea salt in a blender until frothy.

  4. Pour blended mixture over coffee.

  5. Spoon froth from the blender on top.

  6. Top with a dash of sea salt and caramel drizzle. Make it extra decadent with coconut whipped cream.

  7. Make It Iced Directions:

  8. Blend milk, caramel, Vega Essentials and sea salt in a blender until frothy.

  9. Fill a tall glass half with ice.

  10. Pour coffee over ice and top with milk.

  11. Top with a dash of sea salt and caramel drizzle.

  12. Make It a Smoothie Directions:

  13. Blend with 1 frozen banana.

  14. Top with a dash of sea salt and caramel drizzle.
