BBQ Kale Chips

Ditch the bag of BBQ potato chips and make a batch of flavored kale chips instead. No dehydrator required.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch kale, taken off stems and torn into bite size pieces
  • Olive oil, as needed
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • ¼ tsp onion powder
  • ¼ tsp chili powder
  • Pinch garlic powder
  • Pinch ground mustard powder
  • Pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 320F. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Toss kale in enough olive oil to coat.

  3. Combine spices together and massage into kale.

  4. Lay kale in a single layer on cookie sheet.

  5. Bake 20 to 30 minutes. Turn chips after 15 minutes and check every 5 minutes after. Chips can burn very quickly.
