    Can Vega One™ help me lose weight?

    We love this question because we get to talk about nutrient-density (a.k.a. high nutrient-to-low calorie ratio). Vega One is a nutrient dense food, so you can use it any way that you would use a food. You can enjoy it on its own or as a part of your favorite smoothie. You can even cook with it, making pancakes or muffins like these.  Vega One supports you in reaching your optimal weight because it’s high protein, high fiber and high satiety. I love Vega One because it tastes great, is satisfying and offers 20 grams plant-based protein, 6 servings of greens and 6g fiber in 170 calories or less (150 for Natural flavor).

    How much caffeine in Vega products?

    All of Vega’s chocolate and mocha flavored shakes have some caffeine. Below are the approximate values of caffeine in our powdered products: Vega One™ Chocolate contains 11mg* caffeine from cocoa powder per serving. Vega One™ Mocha contains <25 mg* caffeine from ground espresso beans and cocoa powder per serving. Vega® Protein Smoothie Chocolate contains <10 mg* caffeine from cocoa powder per serving. Vega® Protein & Greens Chocolate contains <10 mg* caffeine from cocoa powder per serving. Vega Sport® Protein Chocolate contains 6 mg* caffeine from, you guessed it, cocoa powder per serving. Vega Sport® Protein Mocha contains <20 mg* from cocoa powder and ground espresso beans, per serving. Vega® Clean Protein Chocolate contains 6 mg* caffeine from cocoa powder, per serving. Vega® Essentials Chocolate contains 6 mg* caffeine from cocoa powder, per serving. Vega® Essentials Mocha contains <15 mg* caffeine, per serving. Vega® Greens Matcha Honeydew has <10mg* caffeine, per serving. *The caffeine content provided for all of our nutritional shakes is an approximate value based on information from our suppliers, and may change based on natural variations in the plant-based ingredients. As reference, one 8 oz/250ml cup of coffee has between 75-200 mg of caffeine in it. If you are looking for caffeine pre-workout consider Vega Sport® Pre-Workout Energizer and Vega Sport® Sugar-Free Energizer where you’ll find 100 mg of caffeine, from green tea and yerba maté, per serving. Vega® Clean Energy has 80mg caffeine from green and black tea extracts.

    I don't like stevia. Will I like Vega?

    We choose stevia because we think it’s the best available no calorie sweetener. But we know it’s not for everyone so based on feedback from Vega fans like you we’re happy to announce that we now offer Unsweetened Natural Flavored Vega One® , which is stevia-free. You can find this online only. It’s also a great flavor to make more savory recipes, like these Savory Herb Gluten-Free Waffles. If you're particularly sensitive to the taste of stevia, some other? flavors of our smoothie products have less stevia than others.     Can Vega One be used as a meal replacement?

    Vega One™ is a food—so you can enjoy it anytime you would eat other foods you love—meals, snacks or anywhere in between. Check the Nutrition Facts Panel to ensure that it has the amounts of macro and micronutrients that you are looking for.

    Can I use expired product?

    We have a robust Quality Assurance program that methodically tests our products up to the expiry date. We do not recommend using expired products.

    Can I use Vega® with a nut allergy?

    Thanks for reaching out! In our Vega® protein powders we do not use nuts as ingredients however our powdered products are not produced in a certified nut-free facility. For that reason we cannot make the claim that our nutritional shakes are nut free. Safety is paramount to us at Vega, therefore all our facilities are 3rd party audited and follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Procedure) practices to ensuring all allergen ingredients are stored away from non-allergen ingredients, and strict sanitation procedures are followed, to ensure risk for cross contamination is minimized. Speak to your health care practitioner if you have a nut (or other) allergy before using Vega products.

    Why do the instructions say mix with a non-dairy beverage? Can I mix it with milk?

    We love non-dairy beverages such as almond, hemp, coconut, or rice milk (to name a few) mixed with Vega One™, but if you only have dairy milk in your fridge, go for it!

    What happens if I blend my silica pack?

    If you are concerned about a blended silica pack, please call your doctor. While we're sure this made your smoothie extra thick, there’s nothing to be concerned about. The silica-based desiccant packet in Vega® products is non-toxic. While not recommended to eat, no adverse reactions are expected if the desiccant is accidentally swallowed. Silica is a naturally-occurring mineral that is processed into a silica packet. Since it is a moisture-absorbing substance, if you drank most of your smoothie before you discovered you blended the silica pack into it, drink an additional amount of water throughout the day to help you stay hydrated.

    Can I take Vega® products if I am pregnant?

    We always recommend you check with your healthcare practitioner on whether or not you personally should use Vega® products while pregnant or breastfeeding.

    Are Vega® products organic?

    As demand for organic ingredients grows, it’s getting easier every year to find reliable sources of organic ingredients, but the cost of certification remains prohibitive for smaller-scale farmers—especially cooperative farmers of crops like sacha inchi protein. Vega One is made with a variety of certified organic ingredients including gelatinized maca root, acacia gum, broccoli, kale, spirulina, marine algae, pomegranate, goji and macqui.

    Can I use more than one promo code?

    No. The code you were provided would be good for one-time use only and is not able to be used in conjunction with any other offers.

    Why can’t I checkout?

    What’s the catch? It’s actually the cache! The cache is your browser’s history stored by the Internet. This is stored to help your web experience run smooth(ie). So, if you’ve visited a site more than once your computer can save time by not having to download the same files twice. How does this affect my visit on myvega.com? Sometimes the cache can interfere with your checkout process by collecting old information. If that’s the case, then a little refresher needs to take place. Think of it like a spring cleaning for your data. Please check with your browser for instructions on clearing your cache or contact us. We'd be happy to walk you through the steps to checkout success!

    Do you offer a free gift with purchase?

    Much like Vega online promotions, free gifts are available for a limited time and while supplies last. We love to share the plant-based love and shower you with gifts, so we do it often. Get notifications on Vega Store specials, including free gifts with purchase, by subscribing to Vega at the bottom of this page! Free gifts cannot be applied to future or previously placed orders.

    What type of payment do you accept?

    We accept the following methods of payment: Visa Mastercard American Express We do not accept Paypal or Visa Debit Cards at this time. Orders are subject to review. Your purchase from Vega will show on your Credit Card statement as Sequel Naturals Inc.

    Can I change or cancel my order?

    Orders are processed and shipped as soon as possible so please contact us immediately after placing your order if you have changed your mind. If we can catch your order before it goes to our warehouse, we may be able to change or cancel it.

    How do I use my promo code?

    You can apply your promo code in your shopping cart where the box asks for your ‘Discount Code’. Enter it in the box and click apply.

    I missed last sale by a day, is it still possible to use the Promo Code?

    Vega online promotions are made available during specific dates communicated through our email newsletter, social media, and notifications right here on MyVega.com. After the promotion end date the Promo code expires and cannot be used. Get notifications on specials available through the Vega Store by subscribing to Vega at the bottom of this page!

  • Online Store - Shipping

    What courier do you use?

    We ship via Purolator in Canada and FedEX in the United States. If your order contains chocolate, we use ATS (in Canada only) during the warmer months to keep it cool and prevent your items from melting.

    Does Vega ship Internationally?

    At this time we ship to the USA and Canada only. We don't offer international shipping.

    Do you ship to PO boxes or military addresses?

    At this time we are unable to ship any PO boxes or APO/FPO/DPO addresses.

    How can I track my order?

    Once your order is shipped from our warehouse, we will email you with a shipping confirmation and tracking number link which you can follow. Alternatively, you can track your shipment from your account, just login to view.

    Change your mind? Read here for how to return your Vega product.

    Vega offers only the highest quality goods. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item in its original, unused condition (including all original packaging) within 30 days for a full refund, less shipping and handling charges. Please fill out our contact form including your order number and we will get back to your shortly on next steps. Returns only apply to product that has been purchased from our online store. Please note that we don’t offer refunds or exchanges on expired product, and that if you wish to return clothing purchased from the Vega Online Store, the item must be unworn and have tags intact. ​

    My item arrived damaged, what do I do?

    Please fill out the contact form or email [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) with your name, phone number and order confirmation number and we’d be happy to send out a replacement to you (shipping and handling on us!)
