Dark Chocolate Dipped Strawberries are easy to make, and sure to please. Use a nutrient dense chocolate bar, such as a Vega Maca Chocolate Bar, to satisfy even the most health-conscious of tastebuds.

  • ½ pint fresh strawberries, rinsed and patted dry
  • 1 cup walnut crumbs
  • 3 or 4 oz. dark chocolate or Vega® Maca Chocolate


  • Fill a small ramekin bowl with 1 cup of walnut crumbs.

  • Using a double boiler (or a small glass bowl inside a saucepan of water), melt 3 to 4 oz. (approximately 2 to 3 bars) of dark chocolate.

  • Holding them by the stem, dip strawberries into the melted chocolate until covered, and then immediately after, dip them into the walnut crumbs, until covered again.

  • Lay onto the parchment paper.

  • Once all strawberries are covered, place the tray in the fridge for a minimum of 15 minutes for a final hardening of the chocolate.
