Once you start sipping on this lusciously smooth, mildly sweet, satisfying smoothie, you won’t be able to stop. Healthy fats are the secret. Avocado adds major texture while the coconut milk offers an undeniable richness. A few tablespoons of texture-rich cacao nibs later and this easy recipe is over-the-top delicious. Enjoy!
- ½ ripe avocado
- 2 tbsp cacao powder
- 2 tbsp hemp hearts
- 1 serving of chocolate Vega One™ Nutritional Shake
- 2 tbsp cacao nibs
- 2 pitted dates
- ¼ cup coconut milk
- ¾ cup almond milk
- 3 ice cubs
Add all ingredients to a high-powdered blender and puree until smooth.
To add the white swirl (as seen in picture), drop a half a teaspoon of coconut milk onto your smooth and swirl it around with a spoon.
Optional: For a creamier smoothie, slice avocado into cubes and chill in freezer for two hours before blending.
