When You Need to Have No Goals

I was in Costa Rica and, while I was going for a run, an idea popped into my head that I’d like to share with you. In some ways, this idea is both unorthodox and against the regular teachings of sport psychology. In other ways, this idea helps us to develop two of the greatest mental strengths – being present and positive.

As important as it is to set goals and have something to strive for, it is also vital to create opportunities where we can simply experience the moment – whatever it brings to us.
