An exciting and challenging dual position exists as Sales & Marketing Account Manager. We are looking for high energy and active people with a passion for knowledge of nutrition and wellness to act as custodians of the Vega brand. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, the Sales & Marketing Account Manager will play an integral role in executing ongoing sales and brand building priorities across their assigned region (USA North East Region – NY, CT, and NJ). You are a spirited leader who loves building relationships including between brand and consumer. From grocery store buyers to fans in the community and like-minded partners – you’re able to share the Vega brand in a compelling and engaging manner. You can co-lead a bootcamp with a local fitness influencer or own store presence by increasing POI. Autonomy and no two days being the same energizes you. You possess a strong business acumen to work seamlessly across a matrix business environment. As a performance-driven individual, you are solutions-oriented and show up every day ready for a new adventure.


You take sales & marketing seriously, but still have fun at work. You are open to new ideas, collaboration and know that feedback helps you grow and thrive. Since this role is unique and its impact to the business is significant, the Sales & Marketing Account Manager will have prior experience in sales and marketing functions preferably in CPG or with lifestyle brands. Most importantly, you believe in not only contributing to culture – you live it and love sharing a piece of the Vega culture with everyone in your path: health, wellness, fitness and always striving for better.


Key Responsibilities


  • Store Call Management: develop relationships with Dept Managers and key store personnel to begin to sell Vega initiatives in store
  • Sell-in Promotions/Merch Calendar to stores and secure display space during key events
  • Ensure top items are in distribution on shelf
  • Fast start sell-in on innovation during key launch periods
  • Consumer engagement while visiting stores: provide education & sampling where applicable
  • Manage your trade budget and growth targets for your territory
  • Ensure strong placement of POS materials at stores
  • Sell-in of additional programs and incentives as needed


  • Identify and attend local gyms, studios, businesses and events within assigned region to drive brand awareness, trial and build relationships
  • Responsible for coordination and execution of all activities including reporting and cross-functional communication
  • Adhere to procedures and requirements to drive consistent brand experience as well as health & safety of all consumers



Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a field or remote-based sales and/or marketing role with demonstrated exposure to both functions
  • Possess a valid Driver’s License with access to personal vehicle
  • Experience in health, wellness and fitness and/or relationships in your community is a bonus
  • Expert ability to self-manage while maintaining assigned responsibilities under tight deadlines
  • Displays strong professionalism through exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends will be required as well as ability to travel within region. Occasional overnight travel will be required
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs
